About RBHS DECA
Our Mission
RBHS DECA seeks to help students build skills in both business and public speaking. We function as a club and a 4 1/2 class, which has no impact on a student's GPA.

We currently meet once a week over Zoom, and also attend district and statewide tournaments. These tournaments offer multiple choice tests on business knowledge and roleplay events where students apply their skills to real-life issues.
​
All are welcome regardless of skill level, and beginners are encouraged to join.

Kate Ahn
President
Kate Ahn is a senior at Rancho Bernardo HIgh School. Since her sophomore year, she's competed in DECA's Apparel and Accessories Marketing category and placed first at local and second at district levels. She also participates in the school's broadcast journalism program, along with their Quiz Bowl and Academic League teams.
